Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available to all prospective and currently enrolled students who qualify and enroll in an approved career training program. Research for scholarships can be completed on-line at www.fastweb.com or www.finaid.org.

Financial Aid Guidelines

Students will be evaluated a minimum of two times yearly for satisfactory academic progress. Students who are receiving grants and/or scholarship awards must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress according to the Financial Aid Policies and Procedures provided at time of registration. These policies are independent of individual program standards of progress. Students receiving the Pell Grant must meet these minimum requirements to be eligible for payment.

If you are attending school from July 1, 2026– June 30, 2027 you must complete the 2026-2027 FASFA.

Once your FAFSA has been successfully submitted, it will take 3-5 days to process and for the Financial Aid office to be able to see your FAFSA Submission Summary. Log on to your FAFSA account and check your Submission Summary for errors and/or required verifications. Please have all verification documents with you. Fill Out and Submit Your FAFSA

  1. Gather financial documents such as a Social Security number, Federal income tax returns, W-2s, Bank statements and records of any investments, records of any untaxed income
  2. Go to https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch to create an account if you do not have a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID). If you already have an ID, log on to studentaid.gov (https://studentaid.gov/)
  3. Click on the white “Log In” button. Enter your FSA ID
  4. Choose which FAFSA form you would like to complete. 2026-2027 FAFSA form if you will be attending college between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027.
  5. Create a save key. This is a temporary password that will let you (a) return to the application later if you don’t complete it right away, and (b) share your application with your parent.
  6. Enter Lively Technical College Code – 013997
  7. Follow the instructions carefully. The IRS Tax Return Transcript Import feature is automatically used to add your tax information and / or parents’ tax information. Contributors must give their consent for their information to be directly imported into the FASFA application. You will be required to provide an Official 2024 Tax Return Transcript and W2’s from the IRS for you and/and or parent(s) Tax Return Transcript if the tax information isn’t pulled from the Tax import feature.
  8. Sign and submit
  9. Go to https://www.livelytech.com/students/registration/for steps to enroll and enrollment dates


You should receive an email within the hour stating that your FAFSA was successfully submitted.  After you receive a second email from FAFSA stating that you have a Submission Summary, log back into FAFSA and check your Submission Summary for corrections and verification. This usually take 3–5 days to receive.

If you have a verification, go to https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript to get your official Tax Return Transcript or Verification of Non-filing letter and W-2.

  • If you are under 24 and your parent’s information is required, it is easy for your parent to start your FAFSA and you sign and submit it after your parent has signed and submitted it. (Both student and parent(s) signature is required.)
  • If you filled out a 2025-2026 FAFSA, much of your information will be carried forward from last year. Review that information and update it as needed.

  • Once you are done entering all your information, be sure to sign and submit the form. You aren’t done until you reach the “Confirmation Page,” which you should read carefully and save for your records.
