Lively Technical College’s Diesel Maintenance Technician Program prepares students for work in the diesel industry through curriculum focused on but not limited to maintaining and repairing diesel engines and electrical systems; reconditioning diesel fuel injection systems; overhauling diesel engines; and performing diesel engine preventive maintenance.
The program is designed to prepare students for employment in the diesel automotive industry in positions such as diesel mechanics, small engine diesel mechanics, marine & railroad diesel mechanics, commercial vehicle repair & maintenance mechanics, and commercial fleet mechanics.

Each of Lively Technical College workforce training programs prepares students to pursue industry-recognized certifications that validate the knowledge and competencies taught through textbooks and hands-on training. There may certification exam fees not covered in program fees.
